Compared to the commonly used carbon-lime-graphite rotors (i.e., carbon-graphite rotors or carbon-graphite rotors with surface coatings) in China, our company’s composite graphite degassing rods have the following advantages:
1. Service life is increased by 4-5 times;
2. Oxidation resistance is improved by 6-8 times;
3. Flexural strength is increased by approximately 50%;
4. Resistance to aluminum corrosion is greatly improved.
Using composite graphite degassing rods not only extends rotor life, saves degassing costs, and reduces the frequency of rotor replacement, but more importantly, it improves degassing quality.
With increased operating time, the geometric dimensions of ordinary carbon-graphite rotors are rapidly altered after initial installation, leading to a decrease in degassing efficiency. However, due to its excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, the geometric dimensions of composite graphite materials change very little during use, maintaining a consistently stable degassing effect.
